Yuriy Kostenko, Partner, has been a payments advisor since 2005, supporting clients in Europe, North America, and Middle East & Africa on dozens of successful consulting engagements and M&A advisory roles including many of the largest payments transactions in Europe. 

Yuriy supports clients on market analysis, strategy development, business optimization, and commercial due diligence. Yuriy is an expert in merchant acceptance, digital payments, and payment transaction processing. Yuriy supports a broad range of clients with diverse business problems including financial investors and private equity firms, payment service providers, payment schemes, and retailers.  

Prior to joining Flagship Advisory Partners, Yuriy was a Senior Manager at First Annapolis (acquired by Accenture in 2017), a boutique payments consultancy and M&A advisory firm. Yuriy was instrumental in building the European business of First Annapolis including delivery of the firm’s M&A deal support in Europe from 2008. Yuriy provided buy and sell-side commercial due diligence on dozens of payments transactions across the various sub-segments of the market (merchant payments, digital and alternative payments, payments processing, etc.). Yuriy also supported many of the European and global market leaders in e-commerce and mobile payments on market analysis and product strategy development.

Yuriy received an MBA with academic distinction from Rotterdam School of Management and graduated cum laude from Washington & Lee University and London School of Economics.
