She has a wide aperture of experience serving clients across the financial markets ecosystem and brings expertise in banking and capital markets and underlying infrastructure, digital lending, embedded finance, and fraud.
Katharine Watson is a fintech advisor with experience across strategy consulting, investment banking, corporate finance, and go to market. Her background combines financial services expertise with hands-on experience supporting growth-stage technology companies and enterprise clients.
Prior to joining Flagship Advisory Partners, Katharine served as a Board Advisor and fractional CFO for Seed-Series A startups. She also worked in GTM at Persona, a high-growth fraud management SaaS platform. There, she led customer success for an enterprise fintech portfolio, growing revenue through adoption, renewals, cross-sell, and new product expansion. Katharine has also served as an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company, where she advised clients on commercial due diligence, treasury transformation, embedded lending, and fintech growth strategy initiatives. Earlier in her career, she worked in the Financial Institutions Investment Banking Group at Barclays, advising fintech and banking clients on M&A transactions, debt, public, and private equity capital raises, and strategic financings. She also led operational strategy and transformation initiatives for major financial institutions at EY.
